Intel and IBM provide sombre outlook

  Intel reported Q4 revenues of $13.5 billion, a drop of 14% from previous year. Furthermore the company forecasts flat revenue growth for next quarter as global PC demand remains sluggish.

Big blue IBM also reported their recent quarterly numbers which came in at $24.7 billion, below analysts forecasts of  $25.3 billion.

Both Intel and IBM shares were down ~3% in after-hours trading. Our analysis has an immediate and short-term negative outlook on IBM and neutral rating on Intel with a potential positive outlook depending on our company analysis this week.
