S&P 500 Gains 130% Since it’s 2009 Devilish Low of 666.79

The S&P 500 Index, the broad barometer for the US stock market and benchmark for millions of investors worldwide finally pushed through a record high today.

The previous record high was back in early October 2007 at 1,565.15. However the market is still about 12 points away from it’s intraday high of 1,576.09 also achieved in 2007.

Since the devilish intraday low of 666.79 on the S&P 500 Index in March 2009, the index has risen over 130%!
