PowerSecure International, Inc. today announced it has been awarded $100 million in new solar projects, including a ground-mount system for one of the largest investor owned utilities (IOUs) in the United States.
The company currently expects to recognize approximately $15 million in revenue from these new projects in the fourth quarter of 2015 and $85 million throughout 2016.
“The solar marketplace remains very active and we are excited to add these new large awards to our growing backlog of utility-scale solar projects and complex microgrid solutions which integrate solar energy,” said Sidney Hinton, chief executive officer of PowerSecure.
